Lael Wilcox
Born and raised in Alaska, Lael got into riding later in life – first to commute to work, then to travel the world and finally to race ultra-distances. Her intention is to always race the entire field. She is motivated to encourage more people, especially women, to get on bikes in any capacity. She has organized multiple women’s bikepacking scholarships, a women’s bikepacking challenge, and a girls’ cycling mentorship program.
