Lael Wilcox

Ergon Factory Rider

Born and raised in Alaska, Lael got into riding later in life – first to commute to work, then to travel the world and finally to race ultra-distances. Her intention is to always race the entire field. She is motivated to encourage more people, especially women, to get on bikes in any capacity. She has organized multiple women’s bikepacking scholarships, a women’s bikepacking challenge, and a girls’ cycling mentorship program.

About Ergon Products

The SR Women saddle is perfect for me on any bike. I ride without a chamois and find the cushioning, shape and cut-out perfect.

I’ve always toured with Ergon’s wing grips – the wide platform really saves my hands. For ultra-endurance, bar ends are a must, riding up to 500km a day, my hands really take a beating and being able to move them to different positions really helps.
