Ergon Factory Rider

When Ricarda was 12, she started cycling because her sibling got a road bike and she wanted to do the same. From age 12, she competed on the road and track. After her first year in the u23 category, Ricarda decided to stop cycling at a high level because she put too much pressure on herself and lost enjoyment in the sport. She then started studying sports and nutrition and was still doing some good rides on the bike and Zwift. At the end of 2021, Ricarda heard about CANYON//SRAM Generation. She understood it as an opportunity to get back into racing in bigger races on the road. During that year, Ricarda learned so much on and off the bike and developed as a rider and person. In 2023, she got the opportunity to step up to CANYON//SRAM Racing, a team she calls home.
