The top DH racer in Germany recorded his greatest international result in 2013 with a 9th place finish at the Downhill World Cup in Pietermaritzburg. Johannes’s strengths lay in the unique format of urban downhill racing found in cities and even shopping centers. Johannes is often a favorite at these unique gravity events.

    The marble floor of the shopping center is unsuitable for traditional rubber mountain bike tires. To ensure better traction, grip strips are glued to the riders‘ tires.

  • Tuning

    Johannes Fischbach knows exactly how slippery the floors can be. To gain an extra edge in the competition, he applies handball wax to his tires to help maintain his speed in the corners.
