All-Mountain. All the Way.
The new GMA
All-Mountain riding means being adaptable to the trails and conditions. The loose climb that goes on forever. The crux move on a gnarly section. The rowdy descent that doesn’t give out second chances. You love it, and we do too!
The new GMA (formerly GA2) was made for those who live for dirt. It’s the ergonomic all-mountain grip that combines pressure relief, cushioning and control to keep up with every twist, turn or drop – so you can focus on the only thing that matters: your next trail.
For every challenge the trail throws your way
All-mountain riding requires continually adapting to the constantly changing demands of the trail. Flowing singletrack calls for comfortable feel. Technical trails require absolute control. And fast descents need cushioning, tenacious grip and precise feedback to keep you shreddin’.
This is what the new GMA is all about: It carefully fuses the ergonomic advantages of comfort-oriented grips with the control and frictional hold of modern gravity grips—for riders who don’t limit themselves to one type of terrain.
Comfort and control where your hands meet the bars.
While rough trail surfaces can cause hand pain, finger numbness, sore wrists and forearm fatigue, the main source of improper strain and pain is from using typical non-ergonomic round grips. The GMA is ergonomically designed to reduce pressure peaks while positioning your hands in an intuitive, comfortable position. Zone-specific cushioning enhances hand comfort on rough terrain without feeling mushy or squirmy. This guarantees comfortable, confident control on long challenging trails—no matter how hard or how far you ride.
Cushioning on top. Control underneath.
The blueprint for the perfect all-mountain grip is complex. Where your hand contacts the grip, ergonomic pressure relief and cushioning are key. Where your fingers grip, traction and control are crucial.
The GMA satisfies both needs: The top surface is ergonomically designed exclusively for comfort. The underside surface, with its special textures, increases friction and ensures a secure grip.
The result: ergonomic functional zones optimized for every contact point on your hand.
Smart Texture Rhythm
The GMA’s surface employs a special textural pattern that enhances comfort and control for every part of the hand.
In the palm area, a more open structure allows for greater rubber flex and softness, resulting in comfortable cushioning. In the inner grip area, a solid, firmer structure delivers direct feedback and precise control—exactly where you need it.
Ergonomics you can see and feel.
The GMA’s ergonomic shape serves a clear purpose: to reduce pressure, increase control, and provide optimal support for your hand.
The thumb recess, outer stop, and ergonomically tapered shape aren’t just visual gimmicks—they’re integral parts of the GMA’s design. From a smaller diameter where the thumb and forefinger contact, to a larger diameter on the outer stop, the ergonomic surface guarantees a comfortable riding experience on every trail.
Precise, adjustable and secure
An aluminum clamp with adjustment scale allows you to precisely dial in your grip angle for personalized comfort and support. The clamp locks down tight for secure handling and safety when the trail gets rough.
Standard or FAT? The choice is yours.
GMA series grips are available in standard and FAT grip sizes so every rider can enjoy a comfortable fit. Choose the GMA if you prefer a balance of comfort, feel and control or supersize it to the GMA FAT if you want more cushioned comfort, have larger hands or just prefer a larger diameter grip.
