Emily Batty

Ergon Factory Rider

Emily was born into a mountain bike-crazy family and grew up on a cattle farm in Brooklin, Ontario. She first rode bikes for leisure with her brothers at the age of 10, but it soon became her passion for all things two-wheeled, and in 2009, Emily finally turned pro. As a promising junior, Emily competed in her first World Championships in 2005 and, since her move to the senior ranks, has won two bronze medals at World Championships, attended two Olympics, placing 4th just two seconds off the bronze medal in Rio, and have 10+ Canadian National Championship titles to her name. Emily finished 3rd overall in the World Cup series twice, won Pan Am gold in 2015, and loves her sport and getting more kids on bikes through her non-profit foundation, the Emily Batty Project.
