If the wrists are bent too much while cycling, the carpal tunnel can be compressed resulting in a burning pain in the hand or forearm. The GS1 Evo Single Twist Shift fully supports the wrists while the flexible wing, which is perfectly adapted to the hand, ensures a positive fit between the hand and the grip. Hand and wrist pressures are distributed evenly over the large wing surface, relieving the carpal tunnel, and preventing pain. The vibration-absorbing effect also relieves the forearms, arms and shoulders too.

The GS1 Evo Single Twist Shift has been ergonomically optimized with a completely new rubber compound for touring, hybrid and ebikes. The GS1 Evo Single Twist Shift has slightly smaller shape and volume than our bestselling GP1 Evo grip series making it ideal for dynamic riding whether sitting and spinning or standing and charging hard.

FULLY INTEGRATED AND FULLY ADJUSTABLE Concealed grip clamp

Winged grips apply more rotational force to the handlebars and must be securely clamped so they cannot twist – providing comfortable support for the hands and wrists. The GS1 Evo Single Twist Shift features an ingenious internal aluminum clamp in the grip’s outer end, which is completely concealed under the grip rubber. This means the entire grip surface is comfortably soft to the touch.

DIALED IN MATERIAL Precisely tuned rubber for each grip zone

For maximum comfort and bike control in all situations, we have precisely tuned the rubber feel and softness of the GS1 Evo Single Twist Shift for each gripping zone of the hand – whether riding with or without gloves. The rubber compounds are certified by SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS, which is important for cyclists who ride without gloves.

FITS SEAMLESSLY Perfect integration of right side twist shifters

Users of single-sided twist shifters – usually installed in conjunction with hub gears – can benefit from the hand comfort and support of the GS1 Evo. For the Single Twist Shift version, the right grip is shorter so that the palm rests on the wing of the grip and close to the twist shifter – allowing the hand to change gears quickly and intuitively.
