The GMS is the newest version of our most comfortable MTB trail grip. (formerly the GA3). It’s the ideal grip for mountain bikers wanting more hand comfort and wrist support for trail riding, endurance racing and bikepacking. The GMS’s ergonomic mini-wing design is contoured to closely fit the palm and relieve pressure on the hand and ulnar nerve to prevent pain and finger numbness, while comfortably supporting the wrist.

Reduced hand pressure with wrist support

Ergon invented the wing grip design and optimized it for MTB. The larger contact area reduces pressure on the palm and ulnar nerve to relieve hand pain and finger numbness. The mini-wing also comfortably supports the wrist in an ergonomically correct position relieving wrist pain, soreness and arm fatigue.

Responsive to your hands

Every single millimeter of the GMS surface is made to respond to the needs of your hands. Highly textured and patterned top surface improves cushioned damping across the palm while retaining hand mobility. The underside uses aggressive “gravity grip” textures and integrated finger guides for tenacious grip, proper hand position and confidence. Inner finger and thumb areas allow rapid shifting, braking and dropper actuation with excellent feel and bike control in wet or dry.

SMART TEXTURE RHYTHM Engineered comfort, damping and control.

Finely tuning the shape, width and depth of the texture patterns on the grip’s rubber surface allows us to optimize for comfort, damping, feel and control for every part of the hand. The thumb and forefinger areas have less patterning for a secure hand feel and precise bike control. In the palm area, the deeper, increasing pattern allows the rubber to be softer and more flexible – improving comfort and damping response without feeling mushy or squirmy. Smart Texture Rhythm topology is at the heart of our grip’s superior performance.
