Unlike a typical round grip, the subtle ergonomic shaping of the GMA is purpose-built to precisely fit the complex contours of your hand. Complete contact and support, with no voids or pressure points, allows the GMA to cradle your hands with gentle curves and smooth surfaces designed to keep your hands more comfortable no matter how far or how hard you go.

Control and cushion exactly where you need it

Along with the comfortable ergonomic shape, the GMA is tapered from thicker diameter rubber on the outer part of the grip to a thinner diameter rubber towards the thumb and index finger areas. This provides precise feedback, feel and control for the thumb and index finger areas of the hand while offering increased cushioning and comfort to the palm and outer areas of the hand.

Responsive to your hands

Every single millimeter of the GMA’s surface is made to respond to the needs of your hands. Highly textured and patterned top surface improves cushioned damping across the palm while retaining hand mobility. The underside uses aggressive “gravity grip” textures and integrated finger guides for tenacious grip, proper hand position and confidence. Inner finger and thumb areas allow rapid shifting, braking and dropper actuation with excellent feel and bike control in wet or dry.

SMART TEXTURE RHYTHM Engineered comfort, damping and control.

Finely tuning the shape, width and depth of the texture patterns on the grip’s rubber surface allows us to optimize for comfort, damping, feel and control for every part of the hand. The thumb and forefinger areas have less patterning for a secure hand feel and precise bike control. In the palm area, the deeper, increasing pattern allows the rubber to be softer and more flexible – improving comfort and damping response without feeling mushy or squirmy. Smart Texture Rhythm topology is at the heart of our grip’s superior performance.

GRAVITY GRIP TECH More holding power and more control.

The GMA borrows a trick from our world-cup dominating gravity grips. Aggressive underside friction bars and blocks keep fingers locked in tight when the trail gets rough and special integrated guides intuitively position the fingers and hand for quick response and precise bike control.
