Ergonomie

Pain-free on the Bike

Many grips look ergonomic but have no real effect and can cause pain or even injury, such as carpal tunnel syndrome due to incorrect pressure distribution or misalignment of the hand. That's why you should trust the market leader. The Ergon GP3 Evo has been thought-out to the smallest detail by a team of experts. Its numerous ergonomic features are designed to prevent pain and irritation in the palm and wrists or numbness in the fingers and discomfort in the forearms, upper arms as well as in the neck and shoulders.

The GP3 Evo relieves the hand and thus prevents pain.

The integrated Three-Finger Bar End - Relief and Control

Alternative grip positions not only offer relieve for your hands, but also your entire upper body. The ergonomic three-finger bar ends of the GP3 Evo are fully rubberized and offer effective dampening and even pressure distribution. The bar end angle can be adjusted independently of the grip to give you the desired level of comfort and control.

Relief through homogeneous Pressure Distribution

Tingling, pain and numbness in the hands are a common consequence of pinched nerves, especially the sensitive ulnar nerve. When cycling, a large part of the body weight rests on the hands. To distribute this highly focused pressure over a larger area, the GP3 Evo is equipped with an ergonomic wing designed to reliably prevent hand pain.

The ulnar nerve is pinched off by strong punctual pressure. The wing protects the ulnar nerve and thus prevents numbness in the fingers

A straight Wrist for less Discomfort

Pain, numb fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome are the result of compressed tendons, blood vessels and nerves - often caused by a bent wrist when cycling. The GP3 Evo is equipped with an ergonomic wing, which comfortably supports the wrist in a straight position and reliably prevents discomfort, while improving riding control and comfort.

If the wrist is bent too much, the carpal tunnel is jammed. The solution is provided by the wing grip: it optimally aligns the wrist and thus stretches the carpal tunnel.

The right Grip Width for every Hand

To ensure optimum pressure distribution, a grip must match the hand size. To ensure every rider can fully utilize the ergonomic features, Ergon offers the GP3 Evo in sizes S and L, which easily cover most hand sizes.

The GP3 Evo is offered in Small and Large. For hand(glove)sizes 6.5 – 8.5 we recommend the size Small, for 8.5 – 10.5 size Large

The ergonomic Three-Finger Bar End Relief, Control, Comfort

Fast and precise hand position changes are no problem with the GP3 Evo thanks to the fully rubberized ergonomic three-finger bar ends. Not only do they relieve the strain on your hands and upper body thanks to the different grip positions. The bar ends also provide improved control and power transmission on climbs or uneven terrain. They can be adjusted to your individual requirements independently of the grip. The grip and bar end are attached to the handlebars safely and securely using the robust aluminum clamp.
