Quick and precise gripping is no problem with the Ergon GP4 Evo thanks to the fully rubberised ergonomic four-finger bar end. The longer bar end gives you more grip positions than the GP1 Evo, GP2 Evo and GP3 Evo. Not only does this relieve strain on your hands and upper body thanks to the different grip positions, but the bar ends also offer improved responsiveness and power transfer, for example on long inclines. The bar ends can be adjusted independently of the grip to suit your individual requirements. The grip and bar end are easily attached to the handlebars with a single durable and sturdy aluminium clamp.
For even greater stability and improved comfort, the experts at Ergon have reinforced the inner core of the GP4 Evo with glass fibres. This gives the grip even better vibration damping, low weight and long durability.
The best grip comfort requires millimetre precision. That's why the GP4 Evo comes with laser-cut surface textures that ensure the best grip and driving comfort in all situations.
For over twenty years, the Ergon GP1 has been the benchmark for ergonomic wing grips. The GP4 Evo is based on the further development of this revolutionary handle, the GP1 Evo, and is the ultimate evolution of the original: improved ergonomics, advanced materials and maximum precision in production make the GP4 Evo the new benchmark for ergonomic bar end grips.
Many grips look stylish, but offer very limited relief. Unergonomic grips can cause discomfort and pain due to incorrect pressure distribution or incorrect hand positioning – if the wrist bends sharply, carpal tunnel syndrome can even occur in the worst case. That's why you should trust the market leader. The Ergon GP4 Evo has been thought through down to the last detail and, thanks to its numerous ergonomic features, effectively prevents pain and irritation in the palm and wrists, numbness in the fingers, and discomfort in the forearms, upper arms, neck and shoulders.
Alternative grip positions not only relieve strain on the hands, but also on the entire upper body by straightening it up. The ergonomic four-finger bar ends of the GP4 Evo are fully rubberised, providing effective cushioning and even pressure distribution. The bar ends can be adjusted independently of the grip to give you the desired level of comfort and control.
Tingling, pain and numbness in the hands are common consequences of pinched nerves, especially the sensitive ulnar nerve. This is because a large part of the body's weight rests on the hands when cycling. To distribute this pressure over a larger area, the GP4 Evo is equipped with an ergonomic wing, reliably preventing hand discomfort.
Pain, numb fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome are the result of compressed tendons, blood vessels and nerves – often caused by a bent wrist when cycling. The GP4 Evo is equipped with an ergonomic wing that comfortably holds the wrist in a straight position, not only reliably preventing discomfort but also ensuring increased riding comfort.
To ensure optimal pressure distribution, a grip must be adapted to the size of the hand. To enable every rider to take full advantage of the ergonomic features, Ergon offers the GP4 Evo in sizes S and L, which cover most hand sizes without any problems.
